Opportunity Knocks at Richdale...
Hi I’m Wanda and I am going on 18 years at Richdale. Prior to joining Richdale, I was a Store Manager at Target Corp. While my position was great, I decided to ditch the red vest and seek new opportunities outside of retail. I started out in the purchasing department and quickly excelled. Noticing my knack for detail and my obsession for staying organized, I transitioned into a property management role where I was in charge of all Maintenance and Leasing. As the company grew, I grew too, gaining new communities and soon cities to manage. As a regional manager, I love that we are building new properties because I really get to be involved with the design and development process. We build, own, and manage our communities and it’s so much fun seeing the latest and greatest Richdale community come to market. What is the best part of working here? Every day is different and there is always a new challenge.
My name is Esther and I’m a Leasing Consultant at Richdale Apartments. I joined Richdale from the retail world. In my previous position, I got tired of the late nights, fluorescent lights, and spending my pay check on clothes that I will never wear… but I still loved being around people in a fast-paced environment and I have an innate desire to sell. Richdale is perfect for me because I love giving apartment tours and helping residents not only find their perfect apartment, but making it their ideal home. Not to mention, the training process was top notch and my room for growth is endless!
Hi I’m Dan and I am a General Manager at a 600 unit plus community. Property management wasn’t something I grew up wanting to do or really knew much about. I had gone the educational route and used to be a substitute teacher focused on PE and Health classes. One day I decided to hang up the jump rope and put-away the whistle. I was excited to work in a more corporate environment without being stuck behind a desk all day. I started out as a Leasing Consultant and was very quickly promoted to Assistant Manager. Now that I have my own property, it’s as if I’m running my own business always making whatever decisions are necessary to ensure the success of our community. What do I love most? I get to work at a place where I have fun every day, interact with amazing people, and help people find a home.
Hi, I’m Mike. I started as a Security Guard at Richdale when I was 19 years old. It was my very first job and I didn’t quite know “what I would do when I grew up”. Richdale offered me an opportunity to join the Maintenance team as a Make-Ready Technician. Providing me with the tools I needed to grow, I started to earn certifications and within a few years I was the Lead Maintenance Technician at a property. Every day I am so lucky to get to work with such great people both on the Maintenance team as well as in the Leasing office. I love not being stuck in the office and getting to spend my days out and about in our wonderful properties and serving our residents.
